Frame Section—Front or Rear R&R

 

Included Operations

•    Replace used frame section with necessary components intact
•    Cut and remove damaged frame section
•    Remove and replace frame mounted steering gear

                                         NOTE: Sectioning of a panel may or may not be recommended by vehicle manufacturer. This procedure should only be performed when a qualified and knowledgeable technician has determined that the operation does not jeopardize the integrity of the vehicle.

Not Included Operations

•    Adjust transmission linkage
•    Bleed brakes if necessary
•    Wheel alignment
•    Remove and install or replace:

Sheet metal

Bumper assembly

Suspension

Engine

Fuel tank

Fluid lines

•    Evacuate and recharge Air Conditioning if so equipped and necessary
•    Refrigerant recovery if necessary
