Name and Address Fields

Use the name and address record entry dialog box to add contact information to Mitchell Estimating.

You can create contact records for names you regularly enter when writing an estimate so they're available for you to select on the Admin tab of the estimate instead of manually entering the information every time. You can also use this information to print mailing labels.

Window Components – Name and address record

Last Name / First Name	The name of the company or the customer's first and last name. Maximum field length is 80 characters.
Address 1 / Address 2	The street address or PO Box. Address 1 maximum field length is 35 characters.
City/State/Zip	The city, state, and ZIP code where the company is located. City maximum field length is 30 characters.
Email	The e-mail address. This information appears on the Insurance Company and Customer lists. It does not appear on the Estimate or Appraisal reports or related text image files.
Contact Name	The name of the person handling the estimate or the customer contact name.
State Lic. No.	The company’s business license number, appraiser’s license number, or the customer’s driver license number.
Default Profile	If this record is for an insurance company, you can select a profile to link to it. See Set a default profile for an insurance company.
International Format	Select this check box to display the Country Code field (maximum length is five characters). The default setting is not selected. Note: Country code information is retained if the check box is cleared later. Country code information in an imported estimate is retained, but the field is hidden if the check box is not selected.
Home Phone Work Phone Cell Phone Contact Phone Fax Phone	The company’s or customer’s phone contact information.
Note: All five phone number fields can be customized using a predefined list of phone names (Beeper/Pager, Evening Phone, etc.). Click the arrow next to the name, and from the list, select the name you want to use. A check mark identifies names already selected. You can use the same name for more than one phone number.
Area	The area code (up to five numbers). Optional unless a country code is entered.
Local	The local phone number (up to 10 numbers). Required if there is a value in any of the other phone number fields.
Ext	An extension (up to 10 numbers). Optional.
Note: Alpha characters and spaces are not allowed.
