Use the Points of Impact tab to specify the areas of the vehicle where the impact occurred.
Points of Impact (POI) are defined as Primary and Secondary. If the vehicle was rear-ended and pushed into another vehicle, the rear center (6) would be the primary point of impact. Tthe front center (12) would be a secondary point of impact. It is possible to have multiple secondary points of impact.
Tip: Both the Primary Impact Point and the Secondary Impact Points include a selection for All Over and Undercarriage impact.
- Secondary Impact Point: The area of the vehicle where impact occurred as a result of the initial impact.
How to
- Do one of the following:
- Select a Primary Point of Impact from the list.
- Click the number that points to the impact area on the graphic.
- If applicable, do one of the following:
- Select a Secondary Point of Impact from the list.
- Click the number pointing to the impact area on the graphic.
