When you change a committed estimate, you create a supplement or a correction.
A supplement occurs when your change affects estimate totals:
- changes to the repair lines
- changes to Deductible Status (Waived, Not Waived)
- changes to the Deductible
- changes to Betterment Credit
- changes to Deductible Credit
- changes to Related Prior Damage
- changes to the estimate profile
- changes to Related Prior Damage
- changes to the estimate profile
A correction occurs when your change affects admin or vehicle information.
The estimate number remains the same, and the supplement or correction number increments when the estimate is committed.
Tip: Estimate lines that generated a supplement are identified by a number in the Sup field of the line. The number 1 identifies repair lines that created the first supplement. The number 2 identifies the lines that created the second supplement, and so on. The latest supplement number appears in the upper-right cone of the report. You can find detailed information about the supplements related to the estimate on the Supplement Delta report.
