Supplement Delta Report

Use the Supplement Delta report to compare changes in repair information that occurred between two versions of the estimate.

Note: The estimate versions do not need to be consecutive to be compared.

The Supplement Delta report is not available if an estimate or repair order does not have at least one previous version or was imported from another system without an previous version.

Tip: You need to retrieve all previous versions of an estimate to run a Supplement Delta Report.

The report's file name includes the estimate ID, the current supplement number, and the previous supplement number.

Note: Special characters ($%&+=,./ and a space character) in the estimate ID are replaced by an underscore (_).

You can print the report separately or configure your system to print the report with the Estimate report.

How to

  1. Open the estimate with the supplement or correction you want to compare.

  2. On the Reports menu click Supplement Delta.

  1. On the Supplement Delta Report dialog box, enter the Supplement or Correction number to use for the comparison.

    Note: Zero represents the original estimate.

  2. Select the check boxes for the type of image files you want to create (PDF, TIFF, Text).
  1. To preview the report, click Print Preview.
  2. To print the report, click Print.

Reference

Repair Lines

The Repair Lines section of the report includes three groups: Changed Entries, Deleted Entries, and Added Entries. A group is omitted from the report if no lines exist in that group.

  • Change Entries: This group shows any repair lines that are common in both estimates but contain a difference in one or more fields within the line. Any MAPP or QRP supplier change shows only the part price changes on the report.
  • Deleted Entries: This section shows any lines that exist in the earlier version of the estimate but no longer appear in the open supplement.
  • Added Entries: This section shows any lines that are added to the newer supplement but do not appear in previous versions. The lines may be entered manually or system-generated, such as Auto-Includes.

Special Indicators
  • E> Indicates that a clear coat override caused a supplement. For more information about this and other special indicators, see Estimate reports.

Global Changes

This section includes changes that affect the estimate total:

  • changes to the deductible field in the administrative section
  • changes to the labor rates/part adjustment percentages in the profile
  • changes to customer responsibility for prior damage

Both the original and current values appear.

If no changes occurred, the following statement prints: “No deductible, Labor Rate, or Part Adjustment changes were made.”

If profile settings (excluding labor rates or part adjustments) were changed, the following statement prints: “Estimate profile calculation settings (other than labor rates and adjustments) have changed.”

Totals

The Totals section shows the estimate total for the original estimate, all supplements up through the latest supplement being compared, and the net supplement amount. A Total Tax field displays the sum of all taxes.

Date

The system date and time when the report was printed.

Supplement

The supplement number, if applicable. If there is no supplement for the current estimate, the number is zero (0).

Company Information

The company name, address, and phone number. The information that prints here is for the company selected in the Admin - Remarks tab.

Damage Assessed By

The name of the user who entered the estimate. This is the first and last name as defined for the User ID in the Security Server.

File Number

 If the file number is used as the estimate ID, it prints here.

Claim Number

The claim number entered on the Admin > General tab.
