Search for OEM Parts (Part Lookup)

Enter a partial or complete OEM part number. You can enter alphanumeric characters. Use the asterisk symbol (*) as a wildcard in case you do not know the whole number. Place the wildcard at either the beginning or end of the partial number but not in the middle.

Enter a partial or complete part description. Use whole words. The search is not case sensitive. Separate multiple words by spaces. Avoid using quotation marks in your wildcard searches or search strings.

Note: You can combine the OEM Number and Description in your search. Each field retains the last five entries.

Select this check box to limit the search to parts that are applicable and specific to the current vehicle service. (This is the same functionality as selecting the Qualify command on the Repairs menu.)

Click this button to initiate a search after you enter search criteria in either the OEM Number or Description field.

Click this button to clear the current search criteria and search results.

Click this button to add a selected part record in the search results to the estimate. The Part Lookup dialog box closes (saving the existing search criteria and results list). The selected part is added to the repair lines of the estimate. If the part is in the CEG, it is highlighted in the parts list, and its image appears in the graphic window. Select one part at a time.

Note: This button is not available if the Qualify command on the Repairs menu is selected.

Click this button to print the search results, the Part Lookup Report. You can print one line, multiple selected lines, or the complete list. If no lines are selected, the complete list prints. The report prints in a similar format as the results list. It includes the selected vehicle service, number of records, data version, and date/time stamp.

If the search returns more than 250 records, click View Next to view the next group of records (up to 250 records). Click View Previous to return to the previous group of 250 records.
