Configure Access to Menus (Edit Global Menus)

Use the Edit Global Menus feature on the Authorization Groups dialog box to limit access to certain areas of Mitchell Estimating for the users assigned to that group.

You can specify which menus are visible for users of a particular authorization group.

How to

  1. On the System Info menu, click Authorization Groups.
  2. On the Authorization Groups dialog box, select the group you want to modify.
  3. Click Edit Global Menus.
  4. In the Menu list, select the name of the menu to be customized. The options for the selected menu appear in the submenu list on the right.
  5. Select the Hidden check box, as appropriate for each item in the menu and submenu lists. To make a hidden option visible again, clear its check box.
  6. Click OK.
