Hazardous Waste Calculations

1. Open the profile, and click the Calculations tab.

2. In the Paint/Material Calculation Method list, click Rates.

   

3. In the Initial Rate/Hr box for Haz Waste, enter the hourly rate you want to charge for hazardous waste.

2. In the Paint/Material Calculation Method list, click Percent Multiplier.

   

3. In the Percent Multiply box for Haz Waste, enter the percent of the total amount you want to be calculated for hazardous waste materials.

1. Open the profile, and click the Calculations tab.

2. In the Hazardous Waste Table list, click the name of the table you want to use.

   

   Note: If the only selection is "No Haz Waste Table," you need to add a hazardous waste (also known as a "system table").

The Hourly Rate calculation for hazardous waste material handling applies the value in the Init Rate/Hr field to the total number of hours for hazardous waste, up to the maximum.

Example

When you use this method, the hazardous waste material charge is calculated by applying the Percent Multiply value to the estimate's total hazardous waste cost, up to the maximum.
