Use discounts and markups to apply adjustments for parts and glass. You can apply discounts and markups to individual repair lines.
Note: You can also apply discounts and markups to the estimate as a whole from the profile. See the Adjustments/Long Expansions tab.
Discount and markup repair lines are added below the original repair line, showing the description and the percent that was entered. A discount line item has a negative (-) sign in front of the dollar value.
The original repair line is not changed. The amount replaces any profile settings that might have been in effect—but does NOT add the two together or subtract them from each other.
How to
Insert a Discount Line
- Right-click the repair line to be discounted, and click Add Discount Line.

On the Discount/Markup Line dialog box, in the Enter Percent (%) field, type the discount percentage, and click OK.
The discount line is added below the selected repair line. The discount percentage appears in the Description, and the dollar amount appears in the Price field with a negative sign (-).
