Using MAPP
Mitchell's Alternate Parts Program (MAPP) automatically searches for alternate parts instead of OEM parts for your estimates.
When you calculate an estimate, the system automatically searches for qualified alternate parts for any OEM parts in the estimate. When qualified alternate parts are found, the system automatically uses those in the estimate instead of the OEM parts.
How to
Modify MAPP settings for a repair line
- Select the alternate part repair line, and on the Edit menu, click Modify MAPP Search.
- On the MAPP Search dialog box, do one of the following:
- To deactivate MAPP search, click No Search.
- To change the alternate part search option, click either Search for Alternate New Part or Search for Alternate Remanufactured Part.
- Click OK.
