Appraisal Report

Use the Appraisal report to print summary information about the estimate. The Appraisal report is designed for the independent adjuster.

When you print the report, a file with the .app extension is generated. The file name includes the estimate ID, the current supplement number, and the correction number.

Note: The system replaces special characters in the estimate ID ($%&+=,./) with an underscore(_).

How to

  1. On the Reports menu click Appraisal.
  2. On the Appraisal Report Information dialog box, enter the following Payment Information:
  • Draft/Check Number
  • Draft/Check Number Amount

  • Date Issued

    Tip: Double-click the calendar icon to enter the current date.

  1. Enter the following Valuation Information:
  • Salvage Value
  • Settlement

  • Repair vs. ACV (the difference between the estimate total and the settlement amount)

    Note: The ACV field shows the actual cash value amount from Vehicle Data tab.

  1. Complete the Comments section if needed. You can enter up to 10 lines of text.
  2. Select a Print Image check box (Text, Tiff, or PDF) as needed. See Estimate Report Preferences for descriptions of the Print Image options. The print image is saved in the \MITCHELL\ACES\IMAGE directory.
  3. To preview the report, click OK. A print preview opens.
  4. To print the report, on the preview toolbar, click Print.
