Use the Host Transaction dialog box to configure which type of estimate transaction happens and when. For example, you can select a setting so that new assignments are automatically downloaded when you start Mitchell Estimating.
How to
- On the System Info menu, click Configuration, point to Configure Communications, and then click Configure Host Transactions.
- Select the check boxes for the events that you want to occur when you connect to the Mitchell host or start Mitchell Estimating.

Download New Assignments |
Select this check box to automatically download new assignments. |

Display Dispatches |
Select this check box to automatically open the List Dispatches dialog box when the host session ends. |

Upload Estimate |
Select this check box to automatically upload all committed estimates (supplements and corrections) that have not yet been uploaded. Note: If you are a body shop, make sure your estimates have a valid Reviewer ID and Company Code. |

Display Upload Selection List |
Select this check box to automatically open the Upload dialog box which lists any committed estimates (supplements and corrections) that have not yet been uploaded. You can then select specific estimates you want to upload. If there aren’t any estimates (supplements and corrections) that have not yet been uploaded, the Upload dialog box is blank. Note: This feature is not available if the Upload Estimate check box is not selected. |

Select this check box to be prompted to initiate a host session when you start Mitchell Estimating. |

Automatically Display Communications Log |
Select this check box to automatically open the View Log dialog box when a host session ends. You can also manually open the View Log dialog box at any time. Note: If you have also selected the Display Dispatches check box above, the List Dispatches dialog box appears first. Then, when you close it, the View Log dialog box appears. |
