Use the communication log to track host communication activity.
You can open the communication log on demand as well as configure your system to automatically display the communication log when the host communication is initiated.
How to
- On the Utilities menu, point to Host Communications, and then click Initiate Host Communications.
- On the Host Communications dialog box, click View Log. The appears.
- On the View Log dialog box, do one of the following:
- To view a log, click the Transaction or Session Log option.
- To print a log, select a transaction, and click Print.
- To update the log, click Refresh.
- On the System Info menu, click Configuration, point to Configure Communications, and then click Configure Host Transactions. The appears.

On the Host Transaction - Selectable Upload dialog box, under Startup Request, select the Automatically Display Communications Log check box, and click OK.
The next time a host session ends, the View Log dialog box will automatically appear.
Note: The List Dispatches dialog box may appears first.
Reference
When you open the communication log, you can select to view estimate transactions or the session log.
- Transactions: A list of estimate transactions showing type, status, and a message for each
- Session Log: A list of other transactions related to the current session showing type and a message for each transaction
