Use Special/Manual Entry repair lines to add a repair line where you manually enter all of the applicable repair line fields: labor time, part prices, part number, type, description, and so on.

How to
Add a special/manual entry repair line
- Do one of the following:

- In the toolbar bar code text box, enter 900500.
- Click the Ref Sheet tab, click Special/Manual Entry, and double-click or drag and drop Special/Manual Entry.

On the CEG, ATG, or Ref Sheet tab, click the Man
For these methods, the Specify Quantity dialog box appears. Click OK.
- Click the Long Exp tab, click Special/Manual Entry, and double-click Special/Manual Entry.

Enter each field of the repair line as prompted by the system.
Note: You can enter a part number for new parts (NW).

Placement and Sorting
A Special/Manual Entry line can be added to and associated with a selected parent line. (It displays after the family group of the selected parent, even if child lines are added later.)
If a parent line is not selected, the special line is associated with the last displayed parent line.
If there are no parent lines in the estimate, the special line is not associated with a repair line. It is added to the top of the list, below any Frame Damage Analysis lines.
If the parent line is deleted, any associated special lines are associated with a previous parent line. If there isn't a previous parent line, the special line is not associated with a repair line. It appears at the top of the list, below any Frame Damage Analysis lines.
Additionally, Special/Manual Entry lines can be added to existing selected special lines.
