Use the Mitchell Dispatching System (MDS) to transfer administrative information and messages about an estimate from the office to the field. A field estimator or body shop can retrieve the information from the Mitchell host to complete the estimate.
Preloads are administrative data for an estimate (name, address, phone number, sales tax, policy number, VIN, and so on). You can retrieve preloads before the damage information is entered by the estimator. Information about the actual damage to a vehicle is not included in preloads.
Dispatches are messages containing information for the field estimator, such as the location of a car, directions, or notification of a change in schedule.
You can generate a report that lists the preloads. For more information, see Preloads Report.
The Mitchell Dispatching System is a subscription-based, value-added option. For more information, contact your Mitchell representative.
